Casa del Mar III, Majorca, Spain

Short project's description:
An exquisite luxury villa with advanced features throughout. The Immosolar EMS system fully integrated into the building concept is complemented by a ventilation system with supply air/recirculation air mode and heat recovery using a thermal wheel heat exchanger. The ventilation system includes an additional heat exchanger which provides an output in cooling mode for peak loads and dehumidification. The 32 IS PRO 1Q collectors and 30 PV modules were integrated into the roofing structure as a design feature. Surplus energy from the solar thermal system is used to extend the swimming pool season. Villa Pontevedra, Spain

Kurzbeschreibung Projekt:
Isolated villa which meets its heating and cooling needs with an energy concept involving the active charging of geothermal boreholes using solar thermal collectors and utilising surplus energy and low fluid temperatures which are otherwise unused. To manage solar charging, we use an Energy Controller hydraulic and regulation unit, with which we charge at 3 levels: DHW, central heating and geothermal wells. The primary circuit is managed by the central control unit, which incorporates the heat pump including the supply and mixing assemblies of the underfloor heating/cooling system, according to the outdoor temperature, allowing us to work in the necessary temperature ranges throughout the year. Kofler detached house, Achenkirch, Austria

Short project's description:
IThe challenge with the Kofler detached house was to save the customer as much fossil fuel as possible by using solar power instead. The solution: an "energy controller system". The energy controller gradually discharges the solar energy to the 3 energy consumers according to temperature. The first level is DHW heating. The second level relates to central heating backup, and the third level to swimming pool heating. The control system for the existing oil boiler was also optimised in order to upgrade the system to the latest technical standard. The perfect integration of the collectors into the building structure is the most striking visual feature. Further information: Reference-sheet

Detached house in Lower Saxony, Germany

Short project's description:
As part of the energy renovation of the building envelope, a 12 m² roof-integrated solar thermal system was installed to heat DHW and provide central heating backup. The solar yield is stored in layers in a buffer cylinder with 2 corrugated pipe internal indirect coils. Another internal indirect coil produces DHW using the instantaneous water heater principle. With regard to hygiene requirements, this provides DHW effectively and reliably without the need to store large volumes. Further information: Reference-sheet

Luxury villa in Majorca, Spain

Short project's description:
320 m² living area and 20 m² outdoor pool. Beside the 40 m² collectors and a 16 kW heat pump, the 154 m² underground brine storage tank covers the total hot water-, heating- and cooling demands as open area collector in the Garage drive and in garden. The energy also serves for the temperature control of the outdoor pool without problem. The efficiency of floor heating and cooling is delivered by thermoactive component systems (TABS) for wall- and floor heating or –cooling. The EnergyManagementSystem (EMS) responsible for the control is fitted into basement, saving space.
