At IMMOSOLAR, over 10 years of experience in the development and use of solar energy and heat pump technology have not only led to a multiplicity of individual products, but also to the ability to bring these together in a flexible complete system that can be adapted to all requirements. Our system is able to accommodate all demand profiles, from single family homes to large industrial scale projects. The sun always remains the primary source of energy and, ideally, the building is subsequently able to function without any other additional heating or air-conditioning system at all.

The IS-Pro collectors collect solar heat and take it to the EnergyController or EnergyManager. Their high efficiency guarantees the economic use of solar energy throughout the whole year. The IS-Pro collectors is distributed with installation kits for every different type of roof. Interaction with our heat pumps maximises their potential!

TABS, thermo-active building-component systems, are building components (walls, ceilings,…) in and out of which energy can be charged and discharged and which serve to maintain the building’s base temperature. It is like radiant floor heating in the way that a network of pipes is incorporated into walls and ceilings during the construction phase of the building and these can be connected to different hydronic circuits. Since this system also enables heat to be extracted from the room, it is likewise possible to use TABS to air-condition the building.

In a solar house, it is essential to use a low temperature system with radiant floor and / or wall heating. Compared to conventional high temperature systems (with supply flow temperatures of up to 65°), supply flow temperatures of only up to 35° dramatically increase the efficiency of the heating equipment. Another advantage is that these systems generate a pleasant environment with no drafts, sunburn effect or temperature gradients. In contrast to conventional radiators, the walls and floors radiate heat over their entire surface and do not occupy any room space.
The buffer storage tank has very good insulation properties and can take up to 500 litres of process water.

Installing the geothermal storage system underneath the foundations is not the only option. It can also be buried in the yard around the house, for example, so it is possible to extend the total storage capacity for the solar generated energy to almost any size.

The geothermal storage system is a pipe network, which stores heat in the ground. Installed underneath the foundations, it is insulated from the building. An adequately sized storage capacity is able to provide sufficient solar heat energy to cover the requirements for a whole year.

The EnergyController is a hydraulic control system, which charges the solar energy generated stage by stage in up to three different storage levels. These levels correspond to the different temperature requirements of heating and domestic water. The EnergyManager is used for larger systems, since, compared to the EnergyController, it has a greater number of and more varied connections in addition to flow mixing/splitting capabilities.

The heat pump takes energy from the medium that surrounds it (air, water or earth). The IMMOSOLAR heat pumps have particularly high levels of efficiency and are optimally designed for use with solar collectors. A solar / heat pump combination, provided it is appropriately sized, is able to completely replace a conventional heating system no matter the location!

Special energy consumers, such as swimming pools, can also be connected to the solar supply. The complete IMMOSOLAR system does not impose any architectural restriction and enables a multiplicity of configuration options.
